I really want to work for you. Can I send you a copy of my CV?

We do accept speculative applications. If you are interested in roles at the Scottish FA but you can't see the right role for you just yet, please click on "Speculative Applications" and complete the relevant form.

I want to do an internship with you. Can I send you a copy of my CV?

We do occasionally have internship opportunities. These will always be advertised on our jobs portal where you will need to apply. We do not accept speculative CV applications for internships.

Do you offer work experience, work placement or volunteering opportunities?

I’d like to speak to someone before applying.

If you would like to speak to us about the role, please request a call back emailing People@scottishfa.co.uk

Why do you ask about my gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation etc. and what will you do with this information?

We are committed to ensuring that applicants are treated equally and not discriminated against. Questions on your gender, colour, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, marital status, religion or belief, sexual orientation, disability or age assist us in monitoring who is applying for employment with us, and our adherence to equal opportunities best practice. Any information is gathered for statistical purposes only, and automatically separated from your application by our system, meaning that the organisation is only able to see cumulative diversity profiling data on our jobs.

I want to apply for one of your jobs but I don’t have the right to work in the UK. Will you sponsor me?

For the majority of our roles, candidates must have the pre-existing right to work in the UK. Occasionally, if a role is particularly hard to fill we will be able to provide visa sponsorship. Where this is the case it will be clearly stated in the job ad.

Can I work for you remotely?

Our offices are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, football however doesn’t normally take place during normal working hours. We have therefore moved to a Hybrid Working model, a more outcome-based approach to our performance culture which allows us to focus on what we achieve and how we achieve it, rather than where or when we work, always being cognisant of the fact that priority must be given to the demands of the role, and this will sometime dictates where or when it needs to be done.

I have completed my application. Have you received it?

When you have successfully submitted your application you will receive an automated confirmation email. If you haven’t received this message please check your spam/junk email folder.

How can I find out how much a job is paid?

We highlight the range of our roles within our advert. The final salary offered will be dependent on your experience, competencies and skill. We also offer a range of great benefits, including pension, a cash back plan, access to tickets and much more.

I have applied for a job at the Scottish FA. Can I check the status of my application?

We aim to contact all candidates as quickly as possible after the application deadline, but sometimes there are delays in processing your application, especially for volume roles. If some time has passed, check your email account for any updates and also your junk mail to ensure you’ve not missed anything.

Where can I find the closing date for your vacancies?

Closing dates are listed on the right hand side of the job advert on our jobs portal. Please note that our jobs usually close at 23:59 UK time on the advertised closing date.

I’d like to amend my application. How can I do this?
