What I do at Scottish Football Association
Regional Manager - North.
Strategically manage the Football For All plan across the North Region. Co-ordinate delivery and monitor outcomes in line with regional priorities/specific focus and National directives.
Manage and develop Regional Infrastructure. Manage and develop agreed projects and outcomes. Manage associated budget and seek opportunities to increase investment/utilise finance available shrewdly. Manage day to day staffing. Improve Regional stakeholder/public affairs impacts.
Continue to assume strategic lead for “Membership Development Project Team” - National project working group. Ensure direction and pace of travel is managed and maintained and encourage clear “lines of sight” across other national project groups to work collaboratively.

Who am I?
I have worked for the Scottish Football Association for 17 years.
Prior to this I was employed by Ross County Football Club in a dual role which saw me assume responsibility for the following work streams:
YOUTH ACADEMY:
To lead, direct and shape the direction of travel for the clubs youth academy across all age groups.
This would include work around player and coach development, budgetary management and stakeholder engagement.
LIFESKILLS THROUG SPORT:
To drive and develop our "NEET" (Not in Education, Employment or Training) programmes across the Highlands.
This would include project and people management, creativity of thought and budgetary miracle working to deliver a varied offering to a diverse client group
An enjoyable role which required a fair degree of on and off pitch expertise.
